COMPRO™ Synthetic Compressor Fluid is a premium quality lubricant specifically designed for rotary screw compressors running at very high or very low temperatures, or in severe service applications where there can be no risk of varnish or carbon residue on compressor components.

  • Do I need to buy all my stock from you?
We’d love it if you did, but no, you don’t have to order all your lubricants from us. Some customers jump in with two feet and consolidate all their lubricant stock into the EziStock system, while others like to dip their toes in first and start with a selection of lubricants and add to it as they see fit. As with any ordering situation, the lubricants we supply is completely up to you. Only items approved by you will ever go into the system, so you won’t be finding any surprises on your monthly invoice. If you’re not wanting to keep all your eggs in one basket, you’re perfectly entitled to keep purchasing from other suppliers as well, however only EziStock items are to be kept in the EziStock storage to enable the replenishment cycle to run smoothly.
  • What happens if I reassess pricing down the track and find its cheaper with another supplier?
It’s great to keep your finger on the pulse and be aware of all your options to make sure you’re getting the best value for your business. With EziStock you are free to add or remove stock items from the system at any time, so should you want to switch an item to another supplier you can. While it can be tempting to jump over to another supplier offering a slightly cheaper price for a product, the EziStock system also provides savings in another way, and that’s in terms of the time savings of not having to manage stock and place orders. When you include the labour cost of stock management to your product purchase cost, customers often find it would cost them more to make the switch. Of course, if you simply find the system is not for you, that’s absolutely fine. There’s no locked in contracts, and if you want it out, we’ll take it out. No questions asked, and no hard feelings.
  • Who are your replenishers?
Our national onsite inventory replenishment team are locally contracted individuals whose sole responsibility is to count the stock, tidy and replenish. They’re not part of the sales team, they’re just a friendly bunch of folks keen to get the job done efficiently. Outside of the replenishment, we have a dedicated EziStock operations manager who does all the behind-the-scenes work including training and managing the local replenishers, organising and processing monthly EziStock orders, and adjusting stock where requested. He’s also likely to be the friendly face you’ll see setting up your EziStock storage facilities when they get installed.
  • How can we keep control if you take over stock management?
It’s completely understandable that the prospect of handing over your stock management to a supplier can be a little daunting. In running your operations, you want to have control, and the good news is, you still will. EziStock is not about handing over control to us. Throughout the entire process everything is checked and approved by you. Nothing goes into the system without your consent, and reporting allows you to see exactly what is being used and charged for each month – the system is very transparent.
  • What if we already have a preferred supplier we like to buy from?
There’s no doubt about it, we’re a supplier and we want your business. EziStock is a system developed for businesses looking to get the best bang for buck both in terms of the consumables they’re purchasing, but also in enabling better efficiencies and therefore productivity in the workshop. If you have another supplier you prefer to work with, that’s fine, it’s completely up to you – no hard feelings.
  • What happens if EziStock doesn't work for us?
If the solution simply isn’t working for you, we can remove it. No worries, no hurt feelings. There’s no locked in contracts, and at the end of the day, if the solution isn’t benefitting you, it’s not benefitting us. It has to save you time and money.
  • What’s in it for Duramach? What’s the catch?
There’s no catch. EziStock is a fully open, transparent solution, with reporting so you can see exactly what’s going on. What’s in it for us? Well we’ve got everything to gain by looking after you and your business. Duramach is not a one off sale, it’s having a loyal customer in 10 years time that we’re able to continue providing value for. Basically, your success is our success.

COMPRO Synthetic is formulated from a custom blend of polyalkylene glycol (PAG) and ester fluids, and is fortified with anti-wear and anticorrosion additives.

Features & Benefits

  • Will not form varnish or carbon residue on compressor even at very high operating temperatures

    • Better resistance, versus all hydrocarbon based fluids, to oxidative breakdown caused by exposure to air at high discharge temperatures

    • Keeps compressor components completely free of carbon, sludge and varnish

    • Ensures trouble free operation and lower maintenance costs on fluid change-out

    • Extends oil change intervals to 8,000 hours service in rotary screw compressors, even at air discharge temperatures as high as 105 degrees C

  • Operates at very high and very low temperatures

    • Provides worry free service, even in extreme operating conditions

    • Allows quick start-up, in low ambient temperature applications

    • Ideal for compressors operating in remote environments where the risk of compressor downtime is critical

  • Excellent protection against wear

    • Prolongs the service life of working components

    • Can extend the time between compressor overhauls

    • Reduces overall maintenance costs

  • Protects against rust and corrosion

    • Helps to extend component life

  • Low volatility reduces oil carry-over into the air system

    • Reduces fluid consumption

Applications

COMPRO Synthetic Compressor Fluid is specifically designed for rotary screw air compressors operating in severe applications, including high and low temperature extremes. It is available in an ISO 32 viscosity grade.

COMPRO Synthetic is suitable for use in compressors that handle air and inert gases such as nitrogen, argon, hydrogen, neon, helium, carbon dioxide, carbon monoxide and blast furnace gas.

COMPRO Synthetic is compatible with standard seal and hose materials used in most compressors.

Operational Considerations

COMPRO Synthetic’s polyalkylene glycol (PAG) chemistry has a natural tendency to dissolve or absorb water. For this reason, COMPRO Synthetic is not recommended in compressor applications where there is the potential for excessive water contamination or exposure to corrosive environments.

While COMPRO Synthetic is compatible with other polyalkylene glycol (PAG) based fluids, it is not compatible with mineral oil based fluids, or other synthetic compressor fluid chemistries and should not be mixed or contaminated with these fluids.

Certain makes of compressors do not permit complete draining, so if the drained oil is not compatible with COMPRO Synthetic, flushing and/or cleaning must be performed at the time of fluid change-over.
